This video kit consist of a 501HDV video head and 547B tripod. The 547B professional video tripod is incredibly lightweight, and is one of the most compact tripods in the Manfrotto video range. The upper twin-leg and the one stage construction gives the tripod great rigidity, while the newly redesigned locking collars guarantee exceptional performance. Technopolymers incorporated into the upper casting and on the leg collars bring this design in line with the professional video tripod family. The result is a tripod with maximum torsion rigidity and incredible stability. In addition, a mid level fixed spreader is included and helps to add extra stability to the tripod. the retractable spiked rubber feet insure good grip on whatever surface your setup is. Inside the 501HDV is a powerful new feature that takes its inspiration from our top professional video head models – a fixed counterbalance spring that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups.
